There are three main beaches located along Jimbaran Bay: Jimbaran Beach, Kedonganan Beach, and Kelan Beach. Each of this beach possesses not only beautiful white sand and breathtaking scenery but also ‘special features’ that you could enjoy.
What to do:
If budget is not a problem for you, Jimbaran Beach is the one for you. Here, plenty of high end hotels, private villas and resorts scatter around the area. There are also varieties of cafes and restaurants along this particular beach. Jimbaran Beach is also famous for its dinner by the sea. This means you could literally enjoy the fresh caught seafood along the coastlines accompanied by performances of Balinese dances. It is perfect for those who want to have a romantic dinner and enjoy the breathtaking night scenery at Jimbaran while listening to the sound of the waves. So, if your ideal vacation is to be pampered and to have a private moment with your beloved ones, please do come to Jimbaran Beach.
Meanwhile, for those who seek for the best view that our Mother Earth could provide, you should definitely go for Kelan Beach. This particular beach is the BEST spot in Bali to witness the grandeur moment of sunset. It is located at the northern part of Jimbaran Bay and therefore is nearby to the runway of Ngurah Rai International Airport. As an added bonus to the sunset, you could also witness the spectacular view of planes taking off and landing at the runway. It would be an experience that will humble many of us since it is a reminder that we’re only a tiny part of this whole universe. So, either you happen to be a photographer who wish to capture the best moments of your holiday or someone who wants to make your visit to Bali unforgettable, please do not miss it.
Last but not least, as the cherry on top, we have Kedonganan Beach with its lively famous fish market. It is located near the local fishermen village. As a result, you could find varieties of freshly caught seafood with affordable prices. So, if you would love to observe the local market and enjoy cheap delicious seafood, this place would be just perfect for you.
