Bali West

The Western side of Bali is often referred to as Jembrana, which is the more accurate name, but if you ask for directions to Negara you will find yourself in the same region. This side of Bali is the least developed, and for that reason the least often toured.



Balikpapan is a city in East Kalimantan. It serves as headquarters for international oil companies, mining companies and related support industries operating in (and out of) eastern Kalimantan. It is a relatively clean small city, with clear blue skies.



Bandung is the capital city of West Java province. A city sitting in a former lake with an altitude of 768 m above sea level, the surroundings of lush and beautiful Parahyangan mountains makes the climate cooler than most major cities in Indonesia.



Yogyakarta is the most popular tourist destination on Java, largely thanks to its proximity to the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan. The city is a centre of art and education, offers some good shopping and has a wide range of tourist facilities.



Sanur is Bali's oldest upscale resort area and is a flavorsome beach-side town. Despite the great quantity of restaurants and accommodation from small to high end, it has a quiet and relaxed feel to it.



Amed is a long coastal strip of fishing villages in East Bali. It is an area developing for tourism while holding on to tradition. Amed is slowly becoming known a travellers hub for free diving, scuba diving, yoga and yoga teacher trainings.
